Day 01:Your driver guide will pick you up from
Nairobi. Thereafter,drive towards Kenya's highest mountain, Mt. Kenya.
Cross the Equator near Nanyuki to the Northern Frontier District and on
to Samburu National Reserve, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon,
enjoy a safari drive in this physically dramatic park that borrows its
name from the nomadic tribe that lives in this area.

Day 02:An early morning drive along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River,
where elephants are often seen to wallow is followed by a sumptuous
breakfast at your camp / lodge. PM safari drive in the park during
which you are likely to spot the rare species of animals that Samburu
is famous for: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich,
long necked gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The bird life is diverse and
prolific and includes marshal eagle, pygmy falcons, hornbills and
Egyptian geese.

Day 03: After breakfast, depart for Kenya’s central region. The
drive today takes you through some of Kenya's richest coffee farming
land and past Kikuyu smallholdings. You will arrive at the small market
town of Nyeri for lunch. The town hosted the founder of the Boy Scout
movement, Lord Baden Powell, in the last years of his life and he is
buried there. Your afternoon and night will be spent animal viewing
under “the artificial moon” from the lodge’s balconies - as animals
come to drink and lick salt at thewatering hole below. Other
activities that can be organized in this region include game drives in
the salient as well as nature walks to the Chania River.

Day 04:Check out after breakfast, and depart for Nakuru, making a brief
stop at Nyahururu Falls. These falls – also known as Thomson’s Falls -
were discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson, a Scottish geologist and
naturalist. The Ewaso Narok River drops a sheer 243 feet over a ledge
of volcanic rock, to create these falls. Proceed to Nakuru, arriving
for lunch at your camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari drive around
the lake - home to hundreds of flamingos. Lions, buffalo, waterbuck,
baboons and many other species of animals can also be found in the
surrounding acacia woods and with luck you may spot a rhino or a
leopard! The park has earned a reputation as a haven for endangered
species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe as well as the black and
white rhino.

Day 05 Breakfast at your lodge followed by departure to Lake
Naivasha where you will spend your day at leisure. Lake Naivasha which
lies among extinct volcanoes on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The
fresh water lake – fringed by papyrus – was originally called Nai’posha
by the Masai, which means rough waters. This was later misspelt as
Naivasha and this name has since stuck. The area is one of Kenya’s
prime agricultural regions owing to the fertile soils and water supply
from the lake. Your afternoon will be spent enjoying the amenities of
your lodge / camp. There are a variety of activities to be enjoyed in
this region: Boat rides on the lake, sundowners, bird walks,
horseriding as well as cycling. Two smaller lakes nearby; Oloidien and
Sonachi - a bright green crater lake - are worth exploring. Safari
drives to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park can be arranged. The
name Hell’s Gate is derived from the park’s predominant features - a
pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a geothermically active
interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. Unlike many other parks,
walking is permitted in Hells’ Gate which makes it ideal for rock
climbing and trekking.

Day 06 After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arriving for lunch. After lunch, go on your first safari drive in this
world famous park that plays host to the “greatest spectacle” on earth
- the annual migration that takes place between the months of July and
October. The park is watered by the Mara and Talek rivers and opens
onto the Serengeti plains of Tanzania. The park abounds with plains
game – eland, topi, gazelles and many more – which provide a rich
choice of menu for the predators that hunt in this pristine wilderness.

recorded here

Day 07: A full day to enjoy the unlimited animal viewing
opportunities in this reserve. Set in the heart of Africa’s Great
Plains, the Masai Mara boasts 1,672 sq. kilometres of unspoilt
wilderness. It offers some of the best animal and bird-viewing not only
in Kenya, but in Africa. The views across the rolling golden grasslands
studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense
of space overwhelming. During your morning and afternoon drives, you
will probably see lion, buffalo, elephant and with luck cheetah, rhino
or even a leopard!

Day 08: Depart after your morning breakfast for Serengeti National
Park, stopping for immigration procedures at Isibania. Upon arrival in
the park, enjoy your en route game drive at Serengeti National Park
which is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the
largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders
Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass,
tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the
quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone
kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale
of life that the plains support is staggering. Full board accommodation
included in the tour price.

Day 09 Enjoy your early morning and late evening game drive at
Serengeti National Park. Full board accommodation included in the tour

Day 10 Depart after your breakfast for Ngorongoro via the olduvai
gorge - the cradle of mankind. The world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is
nearly three million years old. The ancient caldera of the extinct
volcano shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth,
ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh
springs and a large soda lake. Descend to the rim of the crater for
your half day of game viewing at the rim of the crater in your private
guide and 4 x 4 safari land cruiser.

Day 11 Transfer after your morning breakfast with your picnic lunch
boxes for Lake Manyara National Park. Located beneath the cliffs of the
Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara
National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and
breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the
Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own
right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobab strewn cliffs, and
algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a
small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. Enjoy
your game drive with your private guide and safari jeep.

Day 12 Depart after your morning breakfast for Marangu gate via
Arusha. From hotel to Marangu Gate, Elevation 1800M (5,905 Ft) to
Mandara hut 2750M (9,021 ft), Our representative will pick you up to
Marangu gate where your permit for trekking will be issued. Gate
formalities take about 30 mins and then start trekking. The route
begins at the National Park Marangu Gate at 1800 m. walk through the
fascinating rain forest then back to Marangu Gate. Dinner at leisure
not included in the tour price. Overnight at IMPALA MOSHI
