met as you disembark and assisted with immigration procedures.
Thereafter, drive towards Kenya's highest mountain, Mt. Kenya. Cross
the Equator near Nanyuki to the Northern Frontier District and on to
Samburu National Reserve, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a
safari drive in this physically dramatic park that borrows its name
from the nomadic tribe that lives in this area.

Day 02:An early morning drive along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River,
where elephants are often seen to wallow is followed by a sumptuous
breakfast at your camp / lodge. PM safari drive in the park during
which you are likely to spot the rare species of animals that Samburu
is famous for: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich,
long necked gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. The bird life is diverse and
prolific and includes marshal eagle, pygmy falcons, hornbills and
Egyptian geese.

Day 03: After breakfast, depart for Kenya’s central region. The
drive today takes you through some of Kenya's richest coffee farming
land and past Kikuyu smallholdings. You will arrive at the small market
town of Nyeri for lunch. The town hosted the founder of the Boy Scout
movement, Lord Baden Powell, in the last years of his life and he is
buried there. Your afternoon and night will be spent animal viewing
under “the artificial moon” from the lodge’s balconies - as animals
come to drink and lick salt at thewatering hole below. Other
activities that can be organized in this region include game drives in
the salient as well as nature walks to the Chania River.
Dinner and overnight at LODGE or similar
Day 04:Check out after breakfast, and depart for Nakuru, making a brief
stop at Nyahururu Falls. These falls – also known as Thomson’s Falls -
were discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson, a Scottish geologist and
naturalist. The Ewaso Narok River drops a sheer 243 feet over a ledge
of volcanic rock, to create these falls. Proceed to Nakuru, arriving
for lunch at your camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari drive around
the lake - home to hundreds of flamingos. Lions, buffalo, waterbuck,
baboons and many other species of animals can also be found in the
surrounding acacia woods and with luck you may spot a rhino or a
leopard! The park has earned a reputation as a haven for endangered
species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe as well as the black and
white rhino.
Dinner and overnight at FLAMINGO HILL CAMP
Day 05: Breakfast at your lodge followed by departure to Lake Naivasha
where you will spend your day at leisure. Lake Naivasha which lies
among extinct volcanoes on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The
fresh water lake – fringed by papyrus – was originally called Nai’posha
by the Masai, which means rough waters. This was later misspelt as
Naivasha and this name has since stuck. The area is one of Kenya’s
prime agricultural regions owing to the fertile soils and water supply
from the lake. Your afternoon will be spent enjoying the amenities of
your lodge / camp. There are a variety of activities to be enjoyed in
this region: Boat rides on the lake, sundowners, bird walks,
horseriding as well as cycling. Two smaller lakes nearby; Oloidien and
Sonachi - a bright green crater lake - are worth exploring. Safari
drives to the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park can be arranged. The
name Hell’s Gate is derived from the park’s predominant features - a
pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a geothermically active
interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. Unlike many other parks,
walking is permitted in Hells’ Gate which makes it ideal for rock
climbing and trekking.
Dinner and overnight aLODGE or similar
Day 06: After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arriving for lunch. After lunch, go on your first safari drive in this
world famous park that plays host to the “greatest spectacle” on earth
- the annual migration that takes place between the months of July and
October. The park is watered by the Mara and Talek rivers and opens
onto the Serengeti plains of Tanzania. The park abounds with plains
game – eland, topi, gazelles and many more – which provide a rich
choice of menu for the predators that hunt in this pristine wilderness.
Numerous species of birds – both resident and migratory – have been
recorded here
Dinner and overnight at MARA SENTRIM MARA SOPA LODGE or similar
Day 07: A full day to enjoy the unlimited animal viewing
opportunities in this reserve. Set in the heart of Africa’s Great
Plains, the Masai Mara boasts 1,672 sq. kilometres of unspoilt
wilderness. It offers some of the best animal and bird-viewing not only
in Kenya, but in Africa. The views across the rolling golden grasslands
studded with acacia trees, rivers and forests are dazzling, the sense
of space overwhelming. During your morning and afternoon drives, you
will probably see lion, buffalo, elephant and with luck cheetah, rhino
or even a leopard!
Dinner and overnight at LODGE or similar

maybe your "dream" photograph. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi,
